Healing Activations

The truth is we could hand over our entire business template (which we are basically doing) and most of you would land face first in a pile of overwhelm, collapse under the pressure before you get started. 

In the new paradigm of business, success isn't achieved through self-exhaustion and force but by nurturing a supportive community. The key is healing the inner wounds that hinder building the village we seek.

To facilitate this, our course includes 12 weekly live Zoom calls, from May 14th to July 30th, 2024, every Tuesday from 5:30-7pm. These sessions feature guided meditations, reflective journaling, deep sharing, and EFT tapping, designed to heal the root wounds preventing you from realizing your vision of a conscious community.

Our Launch Your Village course merges two invaluable curricula into one comprehensive training course, as we’ve broken down the business fundamentals into manageable steps and connected each step to the healing activations we had to work through ourselves as we moved through our own process of launching Roots and Wings Village.

In month one, we focus on healing the feminine.

You will ease into your feminine flow as you begin to pull in the connections you will need to bring your village to life. The first of these connections will be your connection to your own heart as you hone your own unique village vision. This includes a deep dive into the wounding you have received from your maternal lineage.

We will explore all of the deep programming that you should stay small and quiet, that you should perform your way into belonging, that you are not worthy, that self sacrifice and killing yourself to do everything for everyone is what gives you value as a woman.

This internal work will clear the way for you to call in new connections with potential families, collaborators, and business partners. We will also walk you through the essential steps to magnetize your dream location.

In month two, we focus on healing the masculine.

You will start to lay the foundational masculine structure needed to support and sustain your beautiful village. This includes a deep dive into the wounding you received from your paternal lineage. We will examine your inner patriarchy, the place within you where you are deferring to external authorities to give you permission to be yourself in the world.

We offer detailed, step-by-step guidance on regulations, licensing, liability, insurance, finances, and hiring. Together, we will look at your conditioning around money, exploring how it feels to charge for your services. We will uncover the places where your leaky boundaries are siphoning out your life force and leaving you frantic, stuck and overwhelmed.

We share how we’ve modeled our own business, including what steps we’ve taken to maximize our freedom and flexibility to share our mission with the world. We’ve streamlined the process with a comprehensive guide complete with checklists, sample documents, and links to key reference resources.

In month three, our focus shifts to integration of all the healing and practice BEING the new paradigm.

We will explore divine union, where you live anchored in your heart, your root and your connection to source, while at the same time taking leaps of massive action to birth your program out into the world.

We guide you through the practical implementation of websites, communication, social media, graphic design, enrollment, open houses, family handbooks, and registration forms. We’ve included even more checklists, sample documents, and customizable templates to streamline and simplify your process and see the pilot version of your village up and running as soon as possible!

Meet Your Mentors

Hello! We are Kerin & Danielle. We are visionaries pioneering a new model for raising, educating, and healing our children. 

In the last five years, we’ve turned around from our traditional careers within the systems of education, mental health, and library services to focus our attention and gifts on being present single mamas to our five young children. In the process of attuning our hearts to our children’s needs and our deep desire to raise them in community, we’ve built a village of conscious homeschooling families that much to our surprise has transformed into a thriving business.

Now, we want to shout from the rooftops that this is possible for you too! We work with visionaries, changemakers, new earth bringers, all over the world, as they call in their soul community and birth their own villages.

  • We believe it truly takes a village and that raising children in the way our contemporary society has mapped out leads to massive overwhelm and stress that ends up dramatically wounding the whole family system.

    We are on a mission to bring back the village weaving indigenous wisdom with modern knowledge on the best practices for serving children and families. Our mission is to deeply connect those we serve with themselves, each other and the Earth.

    As Gabor Maté, reknowned physician, auther, and speaker states, “In modern society, there is a breakdown of interconnectedness and shared values that traditionally held communities together. This breakdown can contribute to a sense of alienation and disconnection eventually causing extensive mental health issues in parents as well as children.” The acceleration of the collapse of all of the systems, such as education, health care and government, has been startling.

    Kerin and Danielle, like many warrior mamas, have found themselves needing to create new systems and supports to raise their children in as the old ones crumble. The level of overwhelm and isolation that is felt when trying to raise children without a village, while at the same time create new systems is massive. This led us to declare: it is time to bring back the village!

    Between the two of us, we have over 30 years of experience working within these systems of education, social work, and library science serving our community and getting up close and personal with everything that DOESN’T work. We both attended some of the top progressive colleges of education in the United States and have 3 Master’s degrees between us.

    This combination of cutting edge education as well as on the ground experience gave us the courage to leap into creating Roots and Wings Village over 5 years ago. We created our village to hold our own very young children, as well as ourselves as we navigated life homeschooling as single mothers. We never imagined it could have morphed into the thriving business and community it is today!

    Roots and Wings is a nature based, heart centered conscious parenting community and has served hundreds of famlies with its drop off programs for home schoolers, conscious parenting support and community ceremonies and celebrations. We have also served dozens of woman from all over the world supporting them to open their own in person communities, forest schools, homeschool centers and nature-based programs.

This course can be used to launch your own business/program - doesn’t necessarily have to look anything like our village!

    If you are interested in creating an aligned program and seeking more support, we offer the opportunity to participate in a year long intensive training to open a sister chapter of Roots & Wings Village to those who first complete our “Launch Your Village” course. This year long container offers individual and small group coaching/support as well as training on our educational philosophy and approach.

  • Although we do see the option of living together in community in our near future at Roots and Wings Village, the families in our community don’t currently live together on a shared piece of land. As such, we don’t speak specifically about logistics of communal living in this course.
