We believe it takes a village.
We’ve spent the last four years building Roots and Wings Village in Walden, New York, where we have impacted over 100 families through our homeschool drop off programs, community events, and conscious parenting support.
We are re-imagining how we raise children. We’re paving the way on a path less traveled, re-learning how to experience community, and cultivating interconnected networks of support. We are reclaiming the joy and wonder of childhood. We are committed to building a community in which we can all thrive and grow.
We are bringing back the village.
Roots and Wings Village is a place where:
We raise our children together, we grow food together, we educate together, we heal together.
We have a whole lot of hands available to wipe a nose, while another cooks, another gardens, another holds space for a grieving child, and another teaches the children how to start a fire.
We hold each other in circle while we cry, laugh, face our darkest parts and uncover our deepest purpose along the way, step into it, and make a massive amount of money bringing it to life.
